Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary course in any stream from a recognized University are eligible to apply. Only male candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate so as to be eligible. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled caste can seek relaxation up to 5% marks in qualifying exam. Moreover, they should have represented the school cricket team or kabbadi team in any national tournaments.
Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed application form. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of State Bank of Mysore. In addition to this, candidates can obtain the application form from the Head Office located in Bangalore. They are required to provide details about personal information, academic qualification, sports qualification and address for communication.
Recruitment to the post is carried out on the basis of written exam conducted by the bank. There will be multiple choice objective type questions in the examination. Each question carries one mark. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Questions will be asked from the below mentioned topics.

Medium of instruction will be in English as well as in Hindi language. Candidates need to clear each section separately to qualify in the exam. Those who have secured the sectional cut off marks will be short listed for personal interview. Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidate in written exam as well as in personal interview.
