(a) Only one application need be submitted for the Entrance Examinations for admission to one or more of Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Engineering and Architecture courses.
(b) SC / ST candidates should apply in Pink coloured application forms and all other candidates should apply in the General application form ( Light Green ). Candidates under ‘Other Eligible Communities’ ( OEC ) should apply in the General application form. Candidates who are children of Inter – Caste Married Couple, of which one is SC / ST, should apply in the form meant for SC / ST.
(c) KEAM 2012 Application Fee :
General candidates – Rupee 700/-
SC / ST candidates – Rupee 350/-
Note : Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) candidates whose annual family income is below Rupee 40,000/- can have Application Form free of cost from the District Offices of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department on production of Community Certificate and Income Certificate.
(d) KEAM 2012 Application Distribution Centres :
The KEAM Application form and Prospectus will be distributed from Third week of January, 2012 to Third week of February, 2012 through selected branches of Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State. The amount towards the fee of application is to be remitted in cash at the Post Offices.
The list of Post Offices, selected as sales centres, is appended separately. Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Exam Application Forms will not be available by post or sold from the office of the Commissioner for KEAM Entrance Examinations.
(e) Application Form for KEAM 2012 Entrance Exams :
The KEAM 2012 Prospectus, an OMR Data sheet and an envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will be supplied along with the KEAM application form. Candidates should ensure that the Application number printed in the Application Form, OMR Data Sheet and on the cover are the same.
(f) Facility for applying online :
Candidates who do not claim any reservation benefit and those belonging to Non – Keralite category can apply ‘Online’ through the website ‘www.cee-kerala.org‘.
On successful submission of the data online, an application number will be generated. The candidates should take a printout of this application. The KEAM application fee Rupee 700/- can be remitted in any branch of State Bank of Travancore ( SBT ) using the challan contained in the printout of the application.
The Printout of the KEAM application complete in all respects along with original challan certified by the Bank authorities and other requisite certificates should be forwarded to the Office of the CEE before the last date specified for submission of KEAM application forms.
Candidates who do not have access to State Bank of Travancore ( SBT ) can attach a Demand Draft for Rupee 700/- drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram, as application fee along with the application form ( Application Number and Name of applicant should be written on the back of the Demand Draft ). KEAM 2012 Online application process will be completed only on receipt of the printout of the application along with all requisite certificates, in the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
(g) Candidates opting DUBAI ( UAE ) as the Centre for Entrance Examination :
Candidates, who choose ‘Dubai’ as their centre for Entrance Examinations, should submit along with their filled in KEAM application form, a Demand Draft for Rupee 8,500/- ( Rupees Eight Thousand Five Hundred only ), drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the ‘Commissioner for Entrance Examinations’ payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Those applying online should enclose Demand Drafts for Rupee 700/- as KEAM Application fee and Rupee 8,500/- as centre fee. The candidates opting Dubai centre should note that the examinations are conducted as per Indian Standard Time ( IST ).
Last date and time for receipt of filled in KEAM Application Forms :
The filled in KEAM 2012 Application Form along with the OMR Data Sheet and other relevant documents, to be submitted with the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Exam Application Form, are to be sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examinations supplied along with the application form, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. in the Third week of February, 2012, by Hand Delivery / Registered Post / Speed Post. Completed KEAM Applications will be received in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on holidays also.

Belated KEAM Applications :
Belated applications will be rejected. Candidates are therefore advised to apply well in advance. The Commissioner for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay.
Certificates that are to be obtained in the body of the KEAM Application should be obtained in the body of the Application form itself. Incomplete or defective applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The KEAM Entrance Examinations and the subsequent allotments will be based on the various provisions laid down in the Prospectus approved by the Government.
Prospectus for the KEAM Entrance Examinations 2012 is available on the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, ‘www.cee-kerala.org‘. Candidates are requested to go through the various provisions in the Prospectus before submitting their applications.
