Procedure for Applying online: The online application form has been uploaded on the Corporation website – http://www.rsrtc.gov.in and will be available there from the 1st of September 2011 to 30th September 2011. The interested and eligible candidates can apply only through the online application and there is no other means to apply for the various posts advertized.

Application Fee: The applicant has to pay the application fee as per his/her Category in the form of a Demand Draft from any of the Nationalized/Scheduled bank. The Demand Draft has to be “payable at Jaipur” and in favor of “Financial Advisor, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Jaipur”. The fee for various categories is as follows:

1. General category, Other Backward Class (OBC) and Special Backward Class (SBC) applicants have to pay – Rs.700/-

2. Applicant who is not a domicile of Rajasthan and belongs to some other state has to pay, irrespective of his/her category – Rs.700/-

3. All Persons with Disability (PWD) and SC & ST applicants of Rajasthan have to pay – Rs.175/-

Last Date for Applying Online: The deadline for filling the application online is 30.09.2011 till 12 midnight and the last date for receiving the printed copy of the online filled application form along with the Demand Draft and a self addressed Registered envelope send it to the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Post Box No 1131, GPO Delhi – 110006” through simple post before dated 10.10.2011.

Important Note:

Please take a print out of the Instructions to fill the online application form before filling the form.

Mention your Registration number (automatically generated online on submission of the form), name, post applied and mobile number on the back side of the Demand Draft.

RSRTC will be checking the original document of successful candidates before the final selection. Any forgery is liable to disqualify the applicant.

There is no negative marking and no interview for successful candidates.

Candidates may apply for the ** marked post, but call letter for examination would be issued to the candidates only after receiving the approval of the Government.

In case non-receipt of the approval from the Government, the applicable fees would be non-refundable.

Instruction on How to Fill the Online Application Form:

1. Name of the Candidate: The name is in the format – First name/Middle name/Surname. For Example. if your name is Laxmi Narayan Dutt, fill Laxmi in first name, Narayan in the middle name and Dutt in surname. Please do not fill Shri/Smt/Mr./Mrs./Ms/Dr.. etc. in the first name.

2. Father’s Name: Same format as in the case of Name of Candidate.

3. Mother’s Name: Same format as in the case of Name of Candidate and Father’s Name.

4. Domicile: If you belong to the state of Rajasthan and have a certification to prove that you are a native of Rajasthan then fill Rajasthan. If you belong to any other state please select Outside Rajasthan.

5. Gender: Male or Female.

6. Marital Status: Unmarried or Married or Divorced or Widow.

7. Category: Applicants who are domicile of Rajasthan can fill General, SC, ST, OBC, Special BC based on their caste certificate. All other candidates who are not native to the state of Rajasthan will be treated as General and should fill General in their category.

8. Special Category: Physically Disabled or Ex-servicemen or War-widow. In case the applicant does not belong to any of the above mentioned 3 categories he/she should choose not applicable.

9. Date of Birth:

a. General Category (Rajasthan): 01.01.1973 to 01.01.1993

b. SC/ST/OBC/SBC (Rajasthan): 01.01.1971 to 01.01.1993

c. SC/ST/OBC/SBC (Rajasthan)Female applicants: 01.01.1966 to 01.01.1993

d. RSRTC Departmental applicants: 01.01.1971 to 01.01.1993

e. Widow and Divorcee Females: No Age limit

f. Ex-servicemen: 01.01.1961 to 01.01.1993

g. Person with Disability of General Category: 01.01.1966 to 01.01.1993

h. Person with Disability of SC/ST Category: 01.01.1961 to 01.01.1993

i. Person with Disability of OBC/SBC Category: 01.01.1963 to 01.01.1993

10. Educational Qualification Part-I - 10th and 12th Class: The applicant is required to fill the year in which the applicant passed the 10th and 12th class examinations respectively along with the Board or University from which he/she appeared for the examination. The applicant is also required to fill his/her marks obtained as a percentage.

 

11. Educational Qualification Part-II – Graduation: The candidate can choose his/her degree from the drop down menu. In case the degree which the candidate has completed is not present in the drop down menu options the candidate can select others and then fill it in the “please specify” field that appears. The applicant should also mention the passing year, University and percentage marks obtained as mentioned in case of 10th and 12th Class.

12. Educational Qualification Part-III - Post Graduation: The candidate can choose his/her degree from the drop down menu. In case the degree which the candidate has completed is not present in the drop down menu options the candidate can select others and then fill it in the “please specify” field that appears. The applicant should also mention the passing year, University and percentage marks obtained as mentioned in case of 10th and 12th Class.

13. Departmental Applicant: By default the “No” option is chosen. In case you are a departmental candidate i.e. if you have in the past/present have worked/are working in any department of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation as a full time employee under any of its pay scales, you should mark “Yes” option in this field. In the case of Central Govt./Other Department employee you should choose the Other option.

14. Work Experience: The format for filling work experience is Years, Months and Days.

For example. if the applicant has worked for 450 days (365 days = 1 year, 60 days = 2 months and remaining 25 days) the candidate should fill 1 in the year field 2 in months and 25 in days. The work done as a full time employee under any pay scale in a Central/State government department or Public Sector organization will be considered. Work done in private sector does not count.

15. Experience Details: The applicant can fill in the details of the work experience like Post in which worked, pay scale etc.
