District Selection Committee exam has been finished at 1874 centers. Since there are few vacancies for announced posts, there is a huge competition among the applicants for School Assistants and Secondary Grade Teachers. Here is the number of vacancies for both SA and SGT Categories.

For School Assistants (SA) – 6, 000
For Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) – 21, 343

Selected candidates will be appointed as Teacher in Upper Primary Level 6th to 10th Classes. Candidates who had awarded with B.Ed Qualification are only eligible to apply for School assistants and 3.3 lakhs applications received under this category and only 50, 000 candidates had applied for 21,343 posts under SGT’s (I to V). AP DSC 2012 Results with marks will be published for appeared applicants only.
