School Education department starts functioning of 310 model Schools in this year, newly sanctioned 234 Model Schools under Phase-II will start functioning from 2014-15 academic year. The Commissioner & Director of School Education, A.P., has requested the State Government for administrative approval for setting up of 234 Model Schools under Phase-II scheme and also requested to sanction total 4680 posts of teaching to be filled up by Direct Recruitment, and 3236 posts of Non-teaching to be recruited through outsourcing basis in the 234 Model Schools.
Government of Andhra Pradesh gives administrative approval for setting up of 234 Model Schools in the Educationally Backward Blocks identified / approved by the GoI under Phase-II of the Scheme. APMS Recruitment notification to fill 4680 teaching staff will release soon. APMS Recruitment process for fill posts of Principals, Post Graduate Teachers and Trained Graduate Teachers for new model Schools through State Selection Committee. I think no change in Post–wise qualifications and recruitment process through Written Test.
