1. Eligibility for Postgraduate Diploma in Management, 2012 – 2014 ( MBA equivalent PGDM )
The minimum requirement for Xavier Institute of Management admission to the PGDM Program is a three – year Bachelor’s degree ( or equivalent ) in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university / deemed university. Final year degree students, completing their final examinations by June 15, 2012 can also apply.
Offers of XIMB PGDM Admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements for obtaining the degree before 15 June, 2012.
Xavier Admission Test ( XAT 2012 ) :
Applicants are required to take the Xavier Admission Test ( XAT ) to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, on 8th January, 2012. For this, applicants have to log on to http://www.xlri.net.in and apply online for XAT. Registering for XAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB.
2. Eligibility for Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management, 2012 – 2014 ( PGDRM )
The minimum requirement for Xavier Institute of Management admission to the PGDM Program is a three – year Bachelor’s degree ( or equivalent ) in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university / deemed university. Final year degree students, completing their final examinations by June 15, 2012 can also apply.

Applicants are required to take one of the XIMB XAT Admission Tests 2012 :
XIMB XAT Test to be conducted by Institute of Rural Management Anand ( IRMA ), on November 13, 2011. ( or )
XAT Admission Test to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on January 8, 2012. Registering for IRMA Test or XAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB’s PGDM – RM.
3. Eligibility for Postgraduate Diploma in Management, 2012 – 2014, for Working Executives ( PGDM – PT )
The minimum requirements for XIM Bhubaneswar admission to the three – year part – time PGDM Program are :
A three – year Bachelor’s Degree ( or equivalent ) in any discipline from a recognised University.
At least three years of experience in executive capacity in an organisation of repute in the public, private or non – governmental sector. Self – employed persons with a minimum of five years experience after obtaining a qualifying degree can also be considered.
Age Limit : Completed 24 Years as on 01.07.2012.
Sponsorship or no Objection certificate from the employer for pursuing this PGDM Part Time Course at XIMB Institute Management.
4. Eligibility for Doctoral Level Fellow Program in Management ( FPM )
Post – graduates in any discipline ( or professional field ) related to management with at least 55% marks, or graduate engineers with at least 55% marks and having at least two years of work experience are eligible to apply for the XIMB FPM Program.
In case the XIMB XAT score is available on a letter – grade system, the Xavier Institute Management expects a minimum cumulative score of 4.80 on an 8 – point scale ( or 6.00 on a 10 – point scale ). Although the XIMB eligibility is defined in these terms, the XIMB Institute prefers applicants who have excellent academic record as well as rich managerial experience.
