Right after graduation students aspire to get their Post Graduation in their dream stream of Medicine like Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrician, Neurology etc. To do so, previously students needed to appear for various entrance exams just to make the things simpler. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is all set up to conduct NEET–PG. Its purely a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is going to be held from November 23, 2012 to December 6, 2012 . The test centers are already finalized and its gonna be in 33 cities across the country. These following days are excluded from the testing window 24th, 25th, 28th November and 2nd December 2012 , surely exam will not be conducted on these days.

Coming to the details, NEET NBE PG Test is firmly a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses. The Medical Institutions which are recognized for operating these courses comes under the domain of Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations. The exam will comprises 240 multiple choice and single correct response questions. Unlike the UG exam, the questions will be in English. No Negative Marking.Very serious note that the weight age of MCQ’s is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its rights to alter /vary /amend the same. The Syllabus for the test shall comprise of subjects /knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with former agreement of Government of India.
